Time to give Thanks!

Okay, so I am in the middle of coaching swimming right now and the busiest part of our season is in December. I usually give out little treats for Christmas to our school administrators, secretaries, department chairs, athletic directors, and custodians.  I just know that if I try to do this in December I will go crazy, so instead I moved my craziness up a month and decided on chocolate chip pumpkin bread cake pops as a way to say thanks for all they do to help me and Billy out throughout the year. 


I had some problems with dipping them into the chocolate while the cake was still too cool and as a result I had some of the chocolate crack. I tried to cover them up with the vines and leaves by following the crack marks. It reminded me of my middle school art teacher who always made sure we didn't worry about making a mistake because it could lead to something entirely different and better than you had originally planned.
